Babro Newline 1290

The NewLine 1290 is the middle one of Babro Yachting's three Newline models and a typical example of classic Dutch steel construction with a clear contemporary élan. This translates among other things into the sleek lines and a highly polished stainless steel sea railing that playfully bends down to the bathing platform. Without a doubt, the negative hull gives the Newline a tough character, a feature that is further enhanced by the combination of dark hull and light superstructure. And to protect the sleek paint system, we opted for a robust stainless steel bumper along the entire length. As you would expect from a contemporary yacht, an integrated swimming platform is provided, which is easily accessible via the two attractively lit spiral staircases.

Imagine relaxed steering on the spacious aft deck, enjoying the most beautiful sailing areas, whether or not protected by the fully lockable convertible top. The five-piece windshield is equipped with hinges so that that bridge, which is just a little too low, can still be passed without any problems. Need to wait for an opening with a stiff sideways breeze? No worries, because the clever bilge hull shape, the sturdy rudder with large rudder angle and the standard proportional, powerful bow and stern thrusters ensure that you keep your proud possession fully under control.

With 40 years of experience in designing and building motor yachts in addition to running a successful charter company, we know by now where the bottlenecks are. That's why we only settle for the best materials sourced from reputable suppliers. And rather a size bigger than too small. A look in the engine room says it all. The economical and well-insulated Volvo Penta D3 diesel engine delivers 110 hp, good for a top speed of about 16 km/h. In combination with the generously sized diesel tank, cruising at 10 km/h will effortlessly take you 1,400 kilometers. And with a clearance of only 2.75 meters, even the French canals are no obstacle.

Outward bound to the Côte d'Azur is of course also a possibility thanks to the CE-B classification. Here the sophisticated underwater hull ensures comfortable sailing. All in all, thanks to its complete equipment, the Babro Newline 1290 is ideally suited for longer trips to the most beautiful cruising areas.
